Hooters Air Youth Hoodie / Sweatshirt
For young travelers and future aviation historians, this hoodie honors a memorable chapter in American airline history. Hooters Air served Myrtle Beach from 2003 through 2006, with Pace Airlines operating its flights. The airline stood apart through orange-and-white aircraft branding, a link to golf travel, and its Club Class service. This youth sweatshirt turns that short-lived but distinctive story into everyday apparel for airport fans, plane spotters, and families with Myrtle Beach ties.
Hooters Air was a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina airline that operated from March 6, 2003, to April 17, 2006. Founded by Hooters of America restaurant owner Robert Brooks after he acquired Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based Pace Airlines in December 2002, the airline was owned by Hooters of America and all flights were operated by Pace. It combined scheduled USDOT public charters with ad hoc private charters, using H1 for public charters and Pace's Y5 code for ad hoc service. Marketed as a link to Myrtle Beach's golf destinations, Hooters Air used orange-and-white aircraft with Hooters branding and offered Club Class seating, leather seats, and complimentary meals on flights over one hour. Service to Rockford was scheduled to end January 5, 2006, and commercial operations were suspended January 9. Its final flight traveled from Myrtle Beach to Newark on April 17, 2006. Pace Airlines continued charter operations until September 2009.
