GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Set down your drink on a small tribute to AirTran Airways. This ceramic coaster brings the airline’s memorable teal, white, red, and pink design language into a home bar, desk, or aviation display. It honors the carrier’s journey from its Conquest Sun Airlines origins in Orlando to its role as a major Atlanta hub airline, known for Boeing 717 and 737 flying before Southwest completed the brand integration. A thoughtful everyday keepsake for airline collectors and travel-era design fans.

AirTran Airways was a U.S. low-cost airline headquartered in Orlando, Florida. It began in 1993 as Conquest Sun Airlines, a Boeing 737-200 startup serving Orlando, created by the management of Destination Sun Airways and Conquest Airlines. AirTran Corporation purchased the carrier in 1994 and renamed it AirTran Airways; the company later placed the airline under Airways Corporation, which was spun off in 1995. In 1997, the ValuJet holding company acquired Airways Corporation, adopted the AirTran Holdings name, and renamed ValuJet Airlines as AirTran Airlines. Operations and aircraft were transferred into AirTran Airways in 1998, and AirTran Airlines was merged into it in 1999. AirTran grew with a major hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, a fleet centered on Boeing 717-200 and Boeing 737-700 aircraft, and service across the United States and beyond. Southwest Airlines acquired AirTran and AirTran Holdings on May 2, 2011. The brands were gradually integrated, and AirTran's final revenue flight operated December 28, 2014, from Atlanta to Tampa.

Ceramic coaster engraved with a simple, vintage-style wordmark that brings a quiet, archival charm to a coffee table or office desk. The cool ceramic top takes heat and condensation with calm confidence while the cork backing keeps cups steady and surfaces safe. It sits easily beside a well-loved mug during long work sessions or late-night reading, a small, steady surface that feels both practical and quietly nostalgic.
