White Star Line Cuffed Beanie
A cuffed beanie with a maritime-history point of view, honoring White Star Line and its long connection to Liverpool, Belfast shipbuilding and North Atlantic travel. The name recalls the company that developed famous liners including Oceanic, Olympic, Titanic and Britannic, as well as its comfort-focused reputation and recognizable house flag. Wear it on cool harbor walks, winter commutes or museum visits as a subtle salute to the steamship age.
White Star Line was a British shipping line associated with passenger and cargo services between the British Empire and the United States. The first company using the name was founded in Liverpool, England, in 1845 by John Pilkington and Henry Wilson, initially serving the UK-Australia trade. After financial difficulties and bankruptcy in 1867, Thomas Ismay bought the house flag, trade name and goodwill on 18 January 1868 and established headquarters at Albion House, Liverpool. Working with Harland and Wolff, the reorganized line developed North Atlantic services between Liverpool and New York. Its Oceanic-class ships entered service from 1871, while later vessels included Britannic, Germanic, Teutonic, Majestic, Olympic, Titanic and Britannic. White Star emphasized comfortable travel for upper-class and steerage passengers rather than speed alone. It merged with rival Cunard Line in 1934 as Cunard-White Star Line. Cunard purchased White Star's share in 1950, continuing as a single company until 2005; Cunard is now part of Carnival Corporation. Modern Cunard ships retain the phrase White Star Service for their expected level of customer service.

This cuffed beanie carries a lived-in street energy—soft, warm, and quietly bold. The low-profile embroidery sits on the cuff like a personal insignia: a small, slightly distressed logo with a touch of red that reads as both vintage and current. It slips on easily and stays put through commutes, late-night walks, and chilly market runs, adding a subtle graphic edge without shouting.
Wear it with a worn denim jacket, layered knit, or an oversized coat. It works for creatives who like to curate a look that’s casual but considered, for city cyclists who need dependable warmth, or for anyone who favors compact, tactile details. The hypoallergenic acrylic knit keeps things comfortable against the skin while the 12" cuff gives you styling flexibility—fold it high for warmth or roll it low for a slouchier silhouette. This is a small, everyday piece that quietly completes an outfit and ages into its own personality.
